Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) sung by Shakira has hit the charts and hearts of people like an epidemic. Song featured South African band Freshlyground. Shakira has performed live at this official song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup opening and closing ceremonies. This song is also released in Spanish language, titled “Waka Waka (Esto es África)”. Released on May 11 for digital download, the song has received generally positive critical reception, and has become a worldwide hit. Now once again Shakira is singing Waka Waka during the closing ceremony of the 2010 World Cup. Spain beat Netherlands 1-0 in the 2010 FIFA World Cup final, held at Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg.
